Not sure but may have a bad ignition switch. (or could be the starter relay). Have a kobelco sk 120 lc mk iv excavator. When you turn the switch to the on position the engine starts and you have power to the gauges and controls.

Looking at the diagram, we see the pinout of a typical 12v relay. Note that each pin is numbered. 85 and 86 are the coil pins while 30, 87, and 87a are the contact pins. 87 and 87a are the two contacts to which 30 will connect. If the coil is not activated, 30 will always be connected to 87a. You can think of this as the switch in off. Normally, the voltage at which the relay coil is turned on is the operating volt of the relay. The amount of value given in the coil is taken into account and the connection is given with the help of the resistor and the capacitor. Normally, no positive or negative of the relay is specified.
